Located only eight minutes from
the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park, Mesa Verde Pottery is nestled
below the majestic Mesa Verde Plateau in southwestern Colorado. This area
is the homeland of the Navajo and Ute Indian people. Pottery making has
been a tradition in this area for over 1,000 years.

|
We also have a fine collection of original Southwestern art, including:
Navajo weavings, traditional Pueblo Pottery and artifact reproductions.

MESA VERDE POTTERY is dedicated
to providing high-quality, handmade Native American pottery. Each piece,
crafted by Navajo and Ute artisans is unique as we do NOT use guides,
stencils or repetitious designs. Our artists free-hand carve or paint
their unique geometric design work. Each pottery piece is signed by the
artist with their name and tribal affiliation.
The Mesa Verde Pottery Online Gallery features an extensive collection of
Native American jewelry, kachina dolls, alabaster carvings, Southwestern prints, wall hangings,
drums, and other one of a kind collectables.

 The
designs used on our pottery are original reflections of the rich heritage
of the southwest Indian culture. Our friendly sales staff is always on
